Worn, the curve follows the line of the body; set down, it stands on its base more like an object than a bag.<\/p>\n<h3>The leather<\/h3>\n<p>Cowhide, smooth or embossed. In the smooth one the arc runs clean from end to end; in the embossed one the pattern pressed into the leather adds texture without changing the shape. In several colours the side gusset is a second tone, and that band is what draws the curve when you look at it in profile.<\/p>\n<h3>The build<\/h3>\n<p>Two half-circle faces joined by a seven-centimetre gusset. <strong>The zip runs the whole arc<\/strong>, from one end of the base to the other, so it opens along its length rather than through a hole at the top. At both ends, metal rings where the <strong>130 cm strap<\/strong> clips on with snap hooks; the length is set with a buckle, and it comes off.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"cl-prod-desc__uso-title\">In use<\/h3>\n<p>44 cm wide, 22 cm high and 7 cm deep, 600 grams. The length is what sets it apart: an unfolded envelope of papers, a diary, a phone and a wallet go in, all lying lengthwise.
