The Prudence is 20 centimetres wide by 18 high, like any small bag, but the body is a half circle: the widest part is in the middle, not at the top. That is where bulky things go in upright \u2014a glasses case, a bottle, a thick wallet\u2014 that in a rectangle of the same size would have to lie on their side.<\/p>\n<h3>The leather<\/h3>\n<p>Cowhide in several finishes. Smooth is the one that shows the curve cleanest, with nothing to interrupt it. Embossed carries the pattern pressed in relief into the leather itself; long grain leaves the stretched grain on show; and printed carries the design printed on the leather, which is where the model steps away from the sober. In all of them, the name is blind-embossed on the front.<\/p>\n<h3>The build<\/h3>\n<p>A half-circle body with a flat base and a closed arc. The zip runs the whole arc, from one end of the base to the other: it doesn&#8217;t just open at the top, it opens from side to side and the whole interior is visible at once. Inside, <strong>a 9 \u00d7 10 cm open pocket<\/strong> for small things. The strap is a <strong>leather wristlet<\/strong> that clips onto a ring at one corner, next to where the zip starts.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"cl-prod-desc__uso-title\">In use<\/h3>\n<p>20 cm wide, 18 cm high and 7 cm deep, 250 grams. A wallet, a phone, keys, a glasses case and the day&#8217;s things go in, all upright thanks to the seven centimetres of depth. What doesn&#8217;t fit is a tablet or an A5 notebook standing up: the 18 cm of height is the limit. Carry it in the hand or hanging from the wrist \u2014 the strap is short and doesn&#8217;t go over the shoulder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"cl-prod-desc__closing\">Size is measured in centimetres.
