A flat toiletry bag forces the bottles to lie down, and a bottle lying down leaks. The Elio has ten centimetres of depth over a flat base: deodorant, shaving cream and scent go in standing, in the order you reach for them, and they are still standing when the case is opened at the other end.<\/p>\n
Grained cowhide, with a visible pore and a matte surface. It is the finish that best takes what happens to a toiletry bag: it travels crushed inside a case, rubs against everything, and every so often something drips on it. Grain absorbs marks instead of displaying them, and it wipes clean with a cloth.<\/p>\n
