The Orleans has no decorative seam anywhere. The back is a single piece of leather, plain from end to end. It is the quietest version of a dress glove: worn, you see nothing but the hand.<\/p>\n

The leather<\/h3>\n

Smooth sheep leather with an even surface and no pronounced grain. Being one whole piece with no stitched points, the leather works evenly and over the months takes the shape of the hand instead of marking in patches.<\/p>\n

How it’s made<\/h3>\n

A one-piece back, with no points or visible topstitching. The cuff runs slightly longer than the other models, so it covers the wrist even when a sleeve rides up. Internal seams at the fingers.<\/p>\n

Choosing your size<\/h3>\n

It goes with a formal coat and just as well with a jacket. This is the one you choose when the glove is not meant to be noticed.<\/p>\n

A glove size is the circumference of your palm in inches<\/strong>. Make a fist and wrap a tape measure around your hand at the knuckles, without the thumb<\/strong>. Then find your measurement in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

If you land between two sizes, take the smaller: sheep leather gives with wear and settles to the shape of your hand within a couple of weeks. The other way round does not work \u2014 a large glove will not shrink.<\/p>\n
