The leather
Argentine cowhide with a natural grain and the pores visible. It's a surface that hides wear: on a piece carried every day, rubbing against a coat, the grain absorbs marks instead of displaying them — the opposite of what happens with smooth leather. Edges are sealed and stitched, not glued.
The build
A single-piece body with a rounded base and no seam underneath — no corner for dirt to gather in, no joint to open under weight. The zip runs around the whole opening in a curve, so the bag opens wide and you see the entire inside; with a straight opening you have to reach in sideways and feel around. The pull carries a leather tab, easier to grip than a metal tongue. On the front, a stitched panel forms a flat pocket for whatever comes out and goes back in all day. Silver hardware.
In use
16 cm wide, 15 cm high and 6 cm deep. Fits a large phone upright, a wallet, keys and sunglasses. The strap is thin, adjusts with a buckle and comes off completely: it clips on with snap hooks at both ends, so you can remove it to stow the bag inside a larger one, or change its length depending on whether you wear it crossbody or over the shoulder.
