Casa Lopez leather laptop cases protect the machine without the bulk of a bag: a close format in Argentine cowhide, worked by hand in Buenos Aires.

The vertical shape fits under an arm and into hand luggage without taking up the width of a briefcase. A side zip opens the main compartment, and inside sits a flat zipped pouch that keeps cables and charger together and can be carried on its own. Two leather top handles, and an adjustable strap that detaches at the clasp.

It is leather against the machine, with no foam or synthetic in between — and over the years the grip points are where the patina shows first.
