Briefcases

Casa Lopez men's leather briefcases are the widest article in the men's catalog: from the meeting case to the executive briefcase with compartments for a laptop. All worked by hand in the Retiro workshop with Argentine cowhide.

The construction is rigid where it has to be — flat base, reinforced edges, bronze or stainless steel hardware — and flexible where it matters: the handles give, the closures loosen with use, the leather yields without losing its shape. Some models have internal dividers in leather, not fabric.

A Casa Lopez briefcase lasts decades. The leather develops a dark patina at the points of contact that records its history of use without deteriorating. It is the kind of object that gets passed on.
