The bucket is one of the few shapes that does not fight its contents: it loads from the top, closes on itself and never sags the way soft bags do. This one is small and cylindrical, sized for what people actually carry.
The leather
It is made in two materials. In suede, matte and velvety to the touch, which absorbs light rather than reflecting it. And in Argentine cowhide, firmer and with more sheen. In both, the harness and the strap use a different leather from the body, so the contrast reads.
How it is made
A harness of leather straps runs over the cylinder: a band at the mouth, two horizontal and one vertical crossing them, riveted with gold studs. It is not decoration — it is what gives the body its structure and holds the rings the strap clips to. Inside, a fabric pouch with a drawcord and pulls closes the mouth without a metal zip, and adds a phone pocket.
Living with it
15 cm tall by 13 across. It takes the everyday — wallet, keys, phone, glasses — and nothing more, which is the point. The strap is 115 cm and buckles, so it adjusts for the shoulder or across the body, and comes off entirely at the snap hooks to carry the bag in your hand.
