The leather
Fine-grained Argentine cowhide, softly tanned. It holds the bucket shape without being rigid — it loosens over the weeks, and the mouth falls open the moment you release the cord.
How it is made
The mouth is gathered by a leather cord threaded through metal eyelets and tied: pull it and the bag draws closed, release it and it opens right up. The short handle is for carrying it in the hand, and the detachable 130 cm strap has a buckle to set the length, so it works on the shoulder or crossbody.
Living with it
20 cm wide by 17 tall and 10 deep, 500 grams empty. It is one of the smaller bags in the range: a day’s things and little more, which is exactly what it is for. If you need considerably more room, the Serbia is 13 cm deep and stands on its own.
