The leather
Argentine cowhide with a visible grain. On a small piece the leather is taken in at a glance, so there is nowhere to hide a loose cut: the edges are sealed and the stitch follows the outline of the flap, the part that opens and closes every day.
How it is made
It shuts with a rounded flap and a metal turn-lock clasp. The side gussets carry applied studs. It comes with two straps, both detachable: a short one in leather, for the hand or the shoulder, and a one-metre chain to wear it across. They fasten with snap hooks over rings, so you swap one for the other without tools.
Living with it
16 cm tall by 13 wide and 5 deep, 400 grams. A phone stands up inside, along with a small wallet, keys and glasses. What does not fit is a long wallet or a bottle. Worn across on the chain it sits at hip height and leaves both hands free.
