The leather
Argentine cowhide with a pronounced grain, with enough body for the bag to hold its shape without a frame. Silver hardware, and the house plaque on the front of the flap.
How it is made
A flap that comes down to mid-height and is cut in a curve across the front. Inside, two compartments of 15 × 12 with 4 cm of depth each — which is what keeps everything from ending up mixed together — plus a zipped pocket of 14 × 8. Two ways to carry it: the short handle, clipped on with snap hooks, and a detachable 120 cm strap with a buckle to set the length.
Living with it
22 cm wide, 15 tall and 9 deep, 450 grams empty. If you want something similar but closer to the body, the Cartagena is nearly the same size with 7 cm of depth and opens with a turn-lock instead of a flap.
