The leather
Argentine cowhide worked in Buenos Aires, matte on the surface. On a bag worn across the body all day and set down anywhere, matte leather absorbs the rubbing instead of showing it off.
How it is made
A full-width flap with the metal zip underneath. Outside, a zipped pocket of 28 × 15. Under the flap, another of 29 × 16 and, on the flap itself, two more at 13 × 10 for small things. At the back, an open pocket of 34 × 25 — that is where the laptop goes. Inside, one more with a zip at 26 × 14, a phone pocket and three slots for cards or documents. The strap is 150 cm and adjusts with a buckle.
Living with it
38 cm wide by 32 tall and 5 thick, 1.2 kg. It takes a laptop up to 15 inches with cables and an A4 folder in the other pockets. Those 5 cm are the point: it carries a lot without turning into a lump, and worn across the body it stays close.
