TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE – CASA LOPEZ S.A.

By accessing and using the website of Casa Lopez S.A. (hereinafter, "Casa Lopez"), the User accepts these Terms and Conditions of Use ("T&C"). If you do not agree with these conditions, you must refrain from using the site.

1. PURPOSE

This document governs access to and use of the website, including the purchase of products, the creation of user accounts, subscription to communications, and any other available functionality.

3. USE OF THE SITE

The User agrees to use the site and its content in accordance with the law, these T&Cs, morality, and good customs. The following is expressly prohibited:

Reproduce, distribute, or modify content without Casa Lopez’s express authorization.
Take any action that could damage, disable, or overload the site.
Use the site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
Impersonate another person or entity.

4. PRODUCTS AND PRICES

Products offered on the site are subject to stock availability. Prices are in Argentine pesos (ARS) and include VAT. Casa Lopez reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, without affecting orders already confirmed.

5. PURCHASE PROCESS

The purchase is completed once payment is confirmed. Casa Lopez will send a confirmation to the User’s email address. Payment processing is carried out through MercadoPago, subject to its own terms and conditions.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and the logistics operator (OCA or other authorized carriers). Casa Lopez is not responsible for delays due to external causes (force majeure, carrier labor disputes, etc.).

Free shipping applies from the minimum amount in effect at the time of purchase, as indicated on the site.

Store pickup. The order can be collected free of charge at Marcelo T. de Alvear 640, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, presenting the order number and photo ID.

Delivery to hotels in the City of Buenos Aires. Guests staying in the City can enter the hotel and room number at checkout.

International shipping. Checkout on this site operates within Argentina only. International shipping is quoted case by case and arranged over WhatsApp or email before the purchase is completed. Shipping costs, customs duties and taxes in the destination country are borne by the buyer.

7. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

Argentine Consumer Protection Law 24,240 grants 10 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal. At Casa Lopez that period is extended to 10 business days, provided the product has not been used and retains its original packaging.

Under article 34 of that law, return shipping costs are borne by Casa Lopez. The refund covers the price of the product and any shipping paid, and is issued to the same payment method used for the purchase.

If the purchase was paid for in whole or in part with a gift card, that portion is refunded as balance on a new gift card, valid for 365 days from the date of the refund.

Personalised products. Products with engraving or any other personalisation made to order cannot be exchanged or returned, except in the case of a manufacturing defect, as they are goods made to the consumer's specifications.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the site (texts, images, logos, designs, software, etc.) is the property of Casa Lopez or third parties who have authorized its use. Reproduction without express written authorization is prohibited.

9. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

The processing of personal data is governed by Privacy Policy of Casa Lopez, in accordance with Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection.

10. LIABILITY

Casa Lopez does not guarantee continuous availability of the site and is not liable for damages arising from its use, technical interruptions, computer viruses, or unauthorized access. Casa Lopez’s maximum liability is limited to the value of the affected order.

11. CHANGES

Casa Lopez may update these T&Cs at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the site. We recommend reviewing this section periodically.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, waiving any other venue that may apply.

In the event of disputes relating to online purchases, the User may turn to Argentina's National Consumer Arbitration System (SNAC).

13. GIFT CARDS

Gift cards issued by Casa Lopez are bearer instruments and are delivered by email to the address specified by the purchaser.

Validity: 365 calendar days from the date of issue. After that period, any unused balance expires.
Use: they apply to the order total on this site. If the order exceeds the balance, the difference is paid by another method; if the order is smaller, the remaining balance stays on the same gift card until it expires.
They cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
They cannot be topped up or exchanged for cash, in whole or in part.
The balance can be checked at any time on the site's balance page, using the gift card number.

14. USER ACCOUNT

Creating an account is optional: you can also check out as a guest. The User is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for activity carried out from their account.

The site also allows signing in with a Facebook account. In that case, Casa Lopez receives from Meta only the name and email address associated with that account.

The User may request the closure of their account at any time by writing to ventas@casalopez.com.ar. Data linked to completed transactions is retained for the period required by tax and accounting obligations.
