The Kate has a shape that needs no explanation. The “doctor’s bag” silhouette—narrow base, body that widens toward the top, oval clasp in the center—is the answer to the question of what a handbag should look like to make a statement before you even open it.

Leather

Handcrafted cowhide from Buenos Aires in three variations. The smooth and grained versions—sole, blue, black, havana, pink—are leather in its purest form: the shape does the work, and the material supports it. The embossed versions—navy blue crocodile, blue viper, cherry viper—cover the entire surface with the embossed pattern, transforming the same model into a different object. The printed floral version combines a patterned body with a rose motif on a silver-gray base and a gray grained upper edge—the only two-tone variant in the line.

Construction

Structured trapezoidal shape: flat base, firm sides, opening wider than the body. The front is flat with a centered oval swivel clasp—a metal piece that rotates to open and closes with a click. Fixed, flat shoulder strap, the same color as the body. Gold hardware on warm-toned versions; silver hardware on engraved versions or those in cool tones.

The use

Medium size: It holds everything you need for the day without the bag losing its shape. It can be carried over the shoulder by the handle or tucked under the arm. The structure retains its shape whether empty or full. The engraved and floral versions have a presence all their own—they’re meant to be worn with clothing that complements them, not competes with them.

The solid-color version is the most understated. The floral version is for those who aren't afraid to go anywhere.
