The leather
Argentine cowhide, cut into strips and woven into a grid that gives the bag body without stiffness. And it is lined in leather, which almost no bag this size is — fabric lining is the norm. You notice it when you open it, and you notice it years later, when a fabric lining is the first thing to go.
How it is made
A flat rectangular body that closes with a zip along the top. The strap is slim, adjustable and 120 cm long: worn across the body, or shortened to sit on the shoulder. Inside there is a zipped pocket, 14 × 7, for whatever you would rather not rummage for.
Living with it
25 cm wide by 16 tall and 5 deep, 600 grams. Phone, wallet, keys and glasses — the day, not the move. The 5 cm depth is deliberate: this is a bag to wear across you and forget about, not one to load up. If you want the same weave in a larger format, the Cancun; if you want a plain leather crossbody, the Linz.
