The leather
Cowhide worked in Buenos Aires. The flat body is firm enough to protect what's inside without bending. With use, the handles and the edges work through their tensions and the leather settles exactly where it should.
How it's made
A flat horizontal rectangular body. The front is entirely clean — no outer pockets, only the Casa Lopez logo embossed at the centre. A perimeter zip on three sides — left, top and right — so the compartment opens completely. Two rolled handles on top. Horizontal zip pocket on the back.
Living with it
It takes a laptop, an A4 folder and documents kept flat. The slim profile makes it comfortable under the arm, in an overhead locker, inside a suitcase. The rolled handles sit well in the hand. The three-sided opening gives full access to everything without searching for it.
