The leather
Fine-grained Argentine cowhide. On a small piece the whole hide is visible at a glance and there is nowhere to hide: you see the even grain, the sealed edge and the straight stitch along the fold. The monogram is blind embossed, without ink.
How it is made
Vertical format, opening into two leaves and closing with a snap — you hear it, and it is not the kind of fastening that springs open inside a handbag. The eight card slots are stepped along both sides. Two note sections, with room for pesos, dollars and euros. And the coin purse with two compartments, 9 × 9, the largest of the three.
Living with it
11 cm wide by 10 tall and 3 thick, 100 grams. It fits in a small handbag without taking up the bottom. If you would rather have more room for cards and do not carry coins, the Shelly goes up to twelve slots without a coin purse. And for something flatter, the Rosie is 2 cm against this one's 3.
