Two centimetres. That is what sets it apart: it has a coin purse, room for notes and for the cards you actually use, and still it does not bulk up a small handbag.
The leather
Argentine cowhide. The embossed version carries the scale relief across the whole surface, with both tones blended within the same print; the smooth ones let the natural grain show. On an eleven-centimetre piece there is nowhere to hide a crooked cut, so the sealed edge and the straight stitch along the fold are half the work.
How it is made
It folds twice and closes with a tab over two snaps, which hold even when it is full. Inside, four card slots, two note sections — with room for pesos, dollars and euros — and an inner pocket for loose things. The coin purse, 8 × 7, sits apart with a space of its own.
Living with it
11 cm wide by 10 tall and 2 thick, 100 grams. This is for carrying four cards, not twelve. If you need more room, the Candy is the same size from the front with eight slots, and the Shelly goes up to twelve but has no coin purse.
