There is a difference between carrying your ID and having to show it. If you go through a building, an office or a club several times a day, pulling the card out of its sleeve and putting it back gets old fast. The Ibarra solves that with a clear window: you show it without taking anything out.
The leather
Argentine cowhide with a pronounced grain, softly tanned and with no internal frame. The same leather inside and out. The stitching runs in a contrasting orange right around the edge: on a piece this size the stitch is not a detail, it is half of what you see.
How it is made
Horizontal format. One face carries three stacked slots and, below them, a wider pocket with the embossed logo. The other carries one more slot and the clear window, sized for a card. Five compartments in all. No zip and no snap: it opens on its own, which is what you want when you reach for it in a hurry.
Living with it
10 cm wide by 8 tall, 1 cm thick and 100 grams. It fits a jacket pocket and a back trouser pocket. If you do not need the window, the Orlando is the same size at the same price with four compartments; if what you need is room, the Patrice holds seven.
