The leather
Argentine cowhide with a pronounced grain, softly tanned: no frame, no reinforcement, so it moulds to what you put in it from the first day. The same leather inside and out.
How it is made
Horizontal format, with the slots stacked on one face and a wider pocket at the front. The stitching runs along three sides and the fourth is left open — that is where the cards go in. No zip and no snap: it opens on its own, which is what you want when you pull it out at the till.
Living with it
10 cm wide by 8 tall, 1 cm thick and 100 grams. It fits a jacket pocket and a back trouser pocket. If you need more room, the Patrice is the same outer size with seven compartments instead of four.
