The Sergio is a travel bag in its most classic form: a leather cylinder with a zip along the top, from end to end. It opens fully and everything inside is in view, with no need to take things out to find what is at the bottom.
The leather
Cowhide with a natural grain, worked by hand. On a bag that travels, the leather works: the handles mark where they are held, the base where it is set down, and over the trips each one takes on its own tone. That is the part nobody can manufacture.
The build
A cylindrical body with a flat base and rounded ends. Two leather straps run down the sides of the body and end in the carry handles, fixed with rivets: the weight pulls on the whole body, not on a seam. At the ends, rings for the 110 cm strap with a shoulder pad, which comes off when you don't need it. A logo embossed on the front and a leather name tag hanging from the handle. Inside, a 13 × 16 cm zip pocket and a 9 × 8 cm open pocket for documents, keys and small things.
In use
42 cm wide, 30 cm high and 22 cm deep, 1.2 kilos. It takes what you need for two or three nights: clothes, a toiletry bag, a pair of shoes. By the handles it is carried in the hand; on the strap, over the shoulder, and the pad spreads the weight when it is full.
The bag it has always been, in leather that gets better with every trip.
