A small bag has a familiar problem: either it holds just enough and you have to choose what to leave behind, or it loses its shape the moment you fill it. This one solves it through form. The body is a trapeze that flares open at the top, so the mouth is wider than the base and your hand goes in without a fight.
The leather
It is the same Argentine cowhide in two finishes. Smooth, with its natural grain in view and some body to it. And suede, matte and velvety, with the side panels and straps in smooth leather of the same tone. The name is blind-debossed on the front, with no plaque and no hardware.
How it is made
A zip runs the full length of the opening, edge to edge. Inside there are two pockets against the wall: one zipped, 18 × 6 cm, and one open, 18 × 8. The straps are round leather cord, doubled, threaded through the sides of the body and finished in a knot — loosen or slide the knot and the length changes, for the shoulder or across the body.
Living with it
24 cm wide, 13 tall and 9 deep, and 200 grams empty. A phone, a wallet, keys and glasses all fit without anything sitting on its edge — those 9 cm of depth are what separate it from a clutch. The zipped pocket is for what you would rather not hunt for; the open one, for what comes out all the time.
