The Vay takes the shape of a riding saddlebag: a round flap that comes down almost to the base and covers the whole front. It is an everyday bag, worn across the body with your hands free.
The leather
Cowhide in two finishes: smooth, with an even grain, and embossed, with an ostrich or crocodile relief depending on the piece. The flap is cut from a single piece, with no seams breaking the pattern of the leather.
The build
The body has a stitched gusset all around, which gives it 8 cm of depth without losing its shape. Depending on the version, the flap fastens with a metal turn-lock or falls free over the front. Inside, a fabric lining and a zipped pocket of 14 × 11 cm for what must not get lost.
In use
27 cm wide, 21 high and 8 deep. It takes a wallet, a phone, keys, glasses and a small notebook. The strap is 120 cm and shortens with the buckle: at full length it goes across the body; taken up, on the shoulder.
