The Cande is a single-strap cowhide backpack, to wear on your back or across your chest. A zipper runs diagonally down the side, there is a zip pocket on the front, and the wide strap adjusts with a metal buckle and snap hook. Soft body, no internal frame.

The leather
Cowhide with a pronounced grain. The Cande has no internal frame: empty it flattens against your back, loaded it takes the shape of what is inside. It is a soft backpack, and that is the point — it does not bulk up when it is carrying nothing.
The build
Teardrop body, narrower at the top than at the base. The main closure is a long zipper running diagonally down the side, from the top to near the base, so the bag opens wide instead of through a small mouth. Horizontal zip pocket on the front, for what you want at hand. Wide leather strap, adjustable with a metal buckle and attached with a snap hook. Unreinforced base.
In use
20 cm wide, 30 cm high and 8 cm deep, 700 grams. It takes a tablet, an A5 notebook, your wallet, your keys and a small bottle. What does not fit is a laptop or an A4 folder: the 20 cm width is the limit, and an A4 sheet measures 21. This is an everyday backpack, not one for class or the office.
The Cande is small, soft and single-strapped. Put it on and forget it.
