The leather
Grained Argentine cowhide, pore showing, with enough body for the piece to hold itself open without collapsing. The edges are sealed and the sections lined in leather of the same colour; the base, in dark fabric.
How it is made
The two compartments are independent and each carries its own zip running the full way round. In the first, eight card slots, two inner pockets and two note sections — pesos, dollars and euros. In the second, a zipped coin purse and two document pockets.
Living with it
19 cm wide by 10 tall and 4 thick, 300 grams. It is the largest of the five, and deliberately so: it replaces carrying a wallet, a coin purse and a document holder separately. If you want something for a small handbag, the Rosie is 11 × 10 and 2 cm thick.
