The Lenin is the folder you take to a meeting: flat, leather, with the zip running along two sides so it opens fully on the table and you don't have to pull papers out blind.
The leather
Cowhide with a marked grain, which hides the scuffs of daily use. No rigid structure, but it has body: it stays flat even with only a few sheets inside, and over time it softens at the corners.
The build
A flat rectangular body, with the zip corner rounded. The zip runs along the top edge and down the side, so the cover lifts and everything is in view. On the front, the logo on a stitched leather patch and, below, a curved cut that crosses from side to side. Inside, a 17 × 15 cm zip pocket for small things.
In use
35 cm wide, 24 cm high and 4 cm deep, 500 grams. It takes unfolded A4 sheets, a diary or a tablet. It has no handles: carry it in the hand, under the arm or inside a larger briefcase.
