The Alfa is the clean-lined backpack: a single leather body, a zip running around the top and a pocket at the front. No buckles, no flaps; it opens in one pull and sits flat against the back.
The leather
Cowhide with a natural grain and smooth finish, tone-on-tone stitching marking out each panel. It takes the shape of what it carries and gains shine with use at the points of contact. Casa Lopez logo embossed on a leather patch at the front.
How it's made
The main zip runs around the top and opens the backpack all the way. Inside there is room for a laptop of up to 15 inches, and two pockets: a zipped one, 16 × 14 cm, for small things, and an open one, 27 × 15 cm, for papers or a tablet. At the front, a 28 × 16 cm zipped pocket for what you need at hand. A leather handle on top and two adjustable shoulder straps.
Living with it
40 cm high, 30 wide and 10 deep, 900 grams. It is slim on purpose: it sits close to the back and takes up no room on the train or the bus. It takes the laptop, the charger, a notebook and the day's things.
