The fur cuff is not there to warm your forearm: it is there to cover the gap between glove and sleeve, which is where the cold actually gets in. And because it is turned back, it shows outside the coat instead of hiding under it.
The leather
Smooth sheep leather on the hand and natural rabbit fur on the cuff, with the flecking and dark tips of undyed hair. Every pair has its own pattern: no two cuffs are alike.
How it's made
A wide fur cuff set on the edge of the glove, meant to be worn turned out. On the back, the three stitched points that gather the leather over the knuckles. Internal seams at the fingers.
Choosing your size
For real cold, and for the day the glove is part of what you are wearing rather than something you put in a pocket.
This model comes in M and L. If you are between the two, take the smaller: sheep leather gives with wear and settles to the shape of your hand within a couple of weeks. The other way round does not work — a large glove will not shrink.
