Two materials, each where it earns its place. The back is suede, which is what you see and what gives it its feel. The palm is smooth leather, which is what grips: suede on the palm polishes with use and loses exactly what made it beautiful.
The leather
Short, even sheep suede on the back, smooth leather on the palm and fingers. Suede feels warmer to the touch than smooth leather and does not go cold in the hand when it is cold outside.
How it's made
A fine leather strap crossing the wrist, with a gold metal buckle. It is not only decorative: it adjusts. The join between suede and leather is stitched along the edge of the hand.
Choosing your size
The dressiest of the line. It goes with a wool coat and with anything that is not sportswear.
This model comes in M and L. If you are between the two, take the smaller: sheep leather gives with wear and settles to the shape of your hand within a couple of weeks. The other way round does not work — a large glove will not shrink.
